The 7th grade B team won 8-6; Adan Ayala rushed the the Pirates touchdown, and a pass from Joel Guerrero to Manual Muraira on a two point conversion gave the Pirates the lead; the ravenous defense of the Pirates was lead by Cylus Lira who recorded double digit tackle; Cylus recovered a fumble to secure the victory for the B team.

The A team moved the ball up and down field but was plagued by turnovers losing 22-2; Devin Frias scooped up a fumble and scampered 93 yards for the two points. The 8th grade B team tied 8-8, and the A team lost 12-6.  At the end of the 7th grade B game, the players were overly excited and one young man ran up to me and said, "Coach I love you", and gave me a TEXAS size hug.  It is in those moments that our purpose as educators, coaches, and leader are affirmed. I will remember that moment for ever.

Thanks to all that have a hand in making us successful ( The food, the bus , and fields).
