This past weekend the Lytle Pirate basketball team competed in the St. Anthony Invitational Tournament. Competing against 15 other top teams in the area, the Pirates played against quality opponents such as Boerne, Brackenridge, Lockhart, and St. Augustine.

By defeating Fox Tech 58-56 on Friday night, the Pirates entered the semi-finals of the Grey bracket. After dropping a tough game to San Marcos Home School in the semi-finals and a heartbreaker against St. Augustine in the third place game, the Pirates finished fourth out of eight teams in the Grey bracket and tied for eighth overall in the 16 team tournament.

The Pirates now stand at 2-6 and will next compete against Medina Valley in Castroville on Tuesday, December 3rd.
