Your Lytle Pirates took on Carrizo Springs last night, defeating the Wildcats 66-48. Jumping out to a 10 point lead after the first quarter, the Pirates withstood Carrizo’s second quarter charge and went into halftime with a four point lead. The second half was all Lytle as the Pirates outscored the Cats 35-22. The Pirates were led in scoring by Senior David Inocencio who had 28 points. He was backed by Senior Leo Seaton who had 15 points and Junior Mando Martinez who chipped in 10. Pirate basketball is now 10-14 and stands tied for 2nd place in the district at 3-2. Our next game will be on the road as we travel to Devine on Tuesday.


The JV boys continued their winning ways by defeating Carrizo Spring 56-41.  The boys will travel to Devine tomorrow. Good job boys.
